The Best Waxing Brush

Using the right tool to do the job makes all the difference in the world . See how easy it picks up the wax throughout its generous, long ,perfectly flexible bristles and easily spreads it around with just the perfect amount of wax on the brush to get the job done quickly . Easy clean up with hot soapy water . Love my brush. Love my wax. Love my business. Such a bohemian.Thx for indulging me.

Oh but my darling, What if you fly?

I came across this poem by Erin Hanson via Pinterest and it speaks to me.
I spent my 45 years in one town on Long Island in New York. I never went away to college or traveled for my career. Oh, I've traveled and one great adventure was a road trip with my children across the country but always back to the same place in the end.
In one year, I have moved and opened up a business and the phones are finally ringing steadily. My friends and family believed I was crazy or maybe menopausal, ok the menopausal thing is true, but then thank you menopause.

And #ErinHanson what an excellent jumble of words.

Eggcellent

Back in NY for the holidays I was feeling the creative urge struggling to get out and do something. Some spring eggs would brighten things up and help with my need to create. Using the same speckle or as I like to call it freckling, technique I use for furniture, I freckled up some eggs. I think they look eggcellent. Don't you?

A few daffodil blooms rounded out the look for a perfect day of feeling the spring.

Thanks for taking a peek .

Salty Dog Bed

I was looking at this dresser in the studio for WAYYYY tooo long. Out of  nowhere  I hear doggie bed in my head and we are off to the races.

How can I make this doggie bed beachy, coastal? +Greg Hill sent me some vintage cork floaters. What can I do with those? Hmmm. Maybe feet?  Oh yeah, I'm on to something now.

This is really a bad pic but I think you get the picture.  Feet right? You with me?
Omg and I just bought a wooden anchor that will look great on this. Coolio.

It needs to say something  beachy, nautical . David the designer who shares spaces with me and often helps me bounce ideas, spit it right out...."Salty Dog "

Oh yes!!!!That's perfect!!!"

And little by little,this

became this.

Keep creating. And thanks for stopping by for some fun.

With love and gratitude,

Michele
