Do What Makes You Happy

I had made this watercolor doodle years ago. With it's bright, colorful frame it always seems like a happy piece to me. It was just hanging on the wall, in the studio and I thought the color was perfect for Valentine's Day decor, so I set it out and right smack dab across the glass, I added a message. Just a cut piece of paper. I can change the message every week. As #marthastewart would say, "It's a good thing! "

Now here's an insight. And I'm so loving this moment....

As I'm writing this, I can see the simple message is more profound than I thought, you see I was questioning everything I wanted to do and loved for the pursuit of money. Honestly, I could use a little more play money, as most people are feeling right now too. I asked the universe to give me a sign as to the direction I was headed. Thinking I needed to take a job as opposed to pushing my arts and crafts business. On the day I asked, I received a phone call request to do an art class for a group of ladies. Thank you universe for the sign to keep going. But this little message was put out around the same day. I didn't piece it together because I had spent so much time cutting a bunch of various printed messages and the message I added to the frames was just, "the one in front of me", just like my answer was right there in front of me.

It's the little things. Thumbs up if you agree.
What little thing is currently making you happy. Share it!

This post became much more meaningful than when I first began to write it.

With love and gratitude

Michele
