Crafter Must Have Wheat

We have been traveling around lately in our camper. We do this annually for a few weeks while we rent our condo out on Okaloosa Island. It's a forced vacation with a way to go discover.

We usually pick a spot not too far away and learn 

about the area. This year we went 1.5 hrs away to Outback Springs in Bonifay, Florida and explored all the way up to Dothan , Alabama 

In the middle of all this, we sold our condo in SC and had to move our utility trailer  and a few pieces of furniture , and we did it all in a few short days. 

Here's a little crafter story I think you'll appreciate.

At a rest stop in SC I look over and see what looks like wheat, growing into the rest stop weeds. 

Let's be clear, this is not a picture of a wheat field that I went trampling through to take what I wanted. It's a clear picture of the weeds at the gas station. ( I do imagine that was a wheat field a few weeks before )

Of course the crafter in me takes over, " I need some of that for my fall decor." #coastalbohemian @ Bishopville, South Carolina

So a few minutes later and my fiance who knows me all too well laughing at me.....

Yep, I'm towing home some wheat.

I think it's so pretty. Can't wait to make a great fall piece of decor. Meanwhile , every time we, Jason and I  show up somewhere someone says.."What the hell is that?" And looks directly at me. I guess they know me. 

I'm just trying to leave them something to remember me by.
