Shabby Chic Chip Clip Clothes Pins #chipclips #shabbychic #Brownbagglam #brownbaglunch #giftbags #clothespindiy #betterhomesandgardens #VictoriaMagazine

I'm addicted to these shabby chic chip clips. They make opening the pantry door exciting. I love the process of folding the bag down and securing it with one of these pretties. Weird right? I know, I'm weird but if you make a batch of these you'll see. And they make cute gifts. You could decorate any gift bag with one of these. They are especially cute to hang laundry or clip a towel to a beach chair too. How about catering a brown bag lunch with these? I can go on and on . What other uses can we come up with for these little gems?

To make these you'll need-

  •  a package of wooden clothes pins
  •  chalk paint in your choice of colors
  •  scrap fabrics and lace cut into 3 " length strips
  •  roll of jute
  •  hot glue gun with glue sticks
  •  various embellishments-buttons, beads, pom poms etc.

 Paint the wooden clothes pins.

Group together 3 pieces of fabric and lace   scraps.

Using a piece of jute tie a knot in the middle of     the fabric creating a bow.

I like to open up the jute , by unwinding it. It   makes for a real shabby look.

Add an embellishment to the center.

Use the hot glue to add the bow to the clothes pin.

That's it. So easy and a great way to use up some of that time spent inside on self isolation. Stay healthy, stay home.

With love and gratitude,

Michele

  1. I haven't been to the beach in a while, actually since my granddaughter's graduation almost a year ago. But hanging out here I can almost smell the salty air. :)
