Denim Runner

Here's the denim runner I made for our bedroom dresser. I added the pocket to hold the remotes. BTW, they still get lost.
I measured the length and width of my dresser and added extra for my hairy, bohemian fringe to hang down along the sides.
I sewed on a quick and simple pocket with some added burlap and a pretty little flower.

This piece is so me. Denim and down to earth with a little girliness. It makes me happy to see it and tuck my remotes inside the pocket. We keep this at the rental condo on Okaloosa Island so it does double duty by helping to protect the furniture.

Beyond the basic sewing here is a little video that shows how to get your fray on . Don't forget to share and leave a comment.

With love and gratitude,

Michele

  3. Cute idea to add a pocket for the remotes. I'm thinking of doing something like this, but more of a pocket for the bed. Nice job.

  4. Michele, I didn't realise I was so close to where you live last year! We spend 4 days in Santa Rosa Beach after our round trip through the South. Dang...we could have hung out and do a little crafting together. Love your runner and the cute girly flower!
